Larch Update

 

So this pic was taken today of the needles starting to pop. I love the green bristles against the darker bark.

Larch 1 repot and style

So on the 25th Jan 2015 I finished the wiring and styling and repotting of this tree… took me around 5hrs over a few weekends. Larch like to have any repotting done before any bud swelling:

I nicked the side of one of the roots and covered with sphagnum moss hopefully some roots will pop.

New Japanese Larch

I bought this Japanese Larch at a Auction down in Wales, for the benefit of the Dragon Club. I got the tree for around £80 I think.

It was collected a year or two before I picked it up and was originally styled by the Slovakian Bonsai Artist Pavil. A picture he drew also came with the tree.
